This was the first year Sophie had a friend birthday party. She was very excited. We decided to celebrate at Build-a-Bear.

Hard to believe it's been 4 yrs since Sophie came into the world. We had a mini celebration on her birthday - her official birthday party will be this weekend.

She told Mike that the new baby can ride with her on the back. That should be fun.

Sophie wanted to go to the Pizza Ranch for dinner. Grandma Linda brought one of Sophie's presents along - Go Fish. Sophie wanted to play right away.

Then we went to Cold Stone for ice cream.

Sophie decided to entertain everyone with a dance performance. I got it on video but haven't downloaded it yet. It was hysterical.

As I'm writing this post I just found out my cousin Jamie had her baby. Preston Bryant Young. So excited for her and the North Carolina gang. Also makes the next 8 weeks seem really far away. I can't wait to find out if we're having a boy or a girl. Starting to get uncomfortable and in desperate need of a tan.

Mall of America

Last weekend we took one last trip as a family of 3 to the Mall of America. It was a ton of fun and really exhausting. Sophie slept for 3hrs on the way home and then another 9hrs that night. She was worn out.

First stop was lunch at the Noodle Co. YUM!

Then Sophie started making weird poses and wanted me to take a picture.

Then Dad joined in.

Next we went to Nickelodean Universe.... First ride was Azul, the blue train.

Next up was Swiper's Sweeper.

She loved it and screamed the whole time.

Went to the waterpark the first night at the hotel but didn't get any pictures of that. Sophie had a blast but was blue when we left because the water was so cold. The next day we went to Ikea (best part of the trip) and the Sea Life Aquarium.

Next we looked at the Starfish - Sophie actually touched one for a split second. Then she got in trouble by an employee for playing with the rocks at the bottom. Whoops.
