WHP
Sophie participated in the West High Poms Fall Clinic. When it was over she said she wished it could be more than 2 days - it's so much fun. She loves participating and I love watching her. Here's a video of her dance routine. She starts out the routine third from the left.

Pumpkin Patch Take 2
One pumpkin patch just wasn't enough! We headed out to Bloomsbury Farm on Sunday and it was well worth the drive. Only bad thing - the concession stand closed before I could get a funnel cake. Dang it.
Diamond City

Nanna and Grandpa joined us for dinner last Friday night. Grandpa spent a majority of the evening helping Sophie create Diamond City.
If it means getting to hang out in Sophie's room - Jake's all in.

Girl Scouts
Thursday, October 18, 2012
Sophie is officially a girl scout. She's been pretty shy the two times we've had a meeting/event but always excited to go. Last night the troop went to the Iowa Women's Volleyball game. The scoreboard and ice cream were more exciting than the actual volleyball but still fun.

My brother-in-law just made my day. I've been trying for a few weeks now to download a new template to blog. It wasn't going so well. So I asked Nitro for some help and it was done in less than 5minutes. Finally I can move on with my life :-) Thank you Nitro - you rock!

Homecoming Parade
Wednesday, October 3, 2012
We love going to the homecoming parade. Last year Sophie got to be in the parade - this year it was all about the candy. The music, floats and friends are so much fun.
Jake was having a great time before the parade started. He was a little freaked out by all the noise once the floats started coming by. Of course the suckers helped him forget about all the loudness.
So this is what happens when you have a 5yr old that never stops talking and you're trying to pretend like you're hanging on every word. Poor Jake! Sophie was laughing so hard when she saw I forgot to take off his socks. MOTHER OF THE YEAR! Read more...
