Did you vote?

Sophie and I voted... did you? (Bad picture with my old phone - I'm getting an iPhone in 10 days... AND it will be a newer version than Mike Potter's.)

Sophie learned a ton about voting yesterday at school. They had a little voting booth for the kids so I asked who she voted for... "Mom, you have to be 18 to vote." She also told me that you should vote for Ritt Romeny if you want to lose your job. Ok then.

Sophie also decided to get creative and make Jake a tiger. I am definitely one of those parents that starts laughing and ruins the moment of discipline. Seriously though - how do you not laugh when Jake comes around the corner looking like this.

Trick or Treat

Halloween Success - I got a picture of Jake wearing his cowboy hat and smiling. I really didn't think it was going to happen. Jake loved trick or treating. He would walk up to the door and then turn around and walk right back down the driveway. When we did get him to take some candy he would either give it back or just hold it in his hand. Sophie of course loved it and wasn't afraid to ask for two pieces.

Our new neighborhood is crazy during Halloween. Kids everywhere! One of our neighbors even has a hayrack ride for the kids. The local fire station decorates the station and lets the kids climb all over the fire trucks. It was great fun.
